The Florence Classical Portraiture Awards 2023 celebrated realistic human representation. Held in the historic center of Florence, this contest gathered academy-trained portrait artists from all over the world.

• Submissions must follow traditional academic methods (from life or natural reference).
• Strictly oil on canvas or copper panels.

Results

The physical jury evaluated 80 portraits in early December 2023, awarding gold medals and cash grants to outstanding figurative realists.
