About The Artwork

This contemporary artwork of Lake Pichola in Udaipur is rendered in sepia tones, evoking a sense of timelessness and nostalgia. The artist uses a palette knife technique, creating textured layers that bring depth and movement to the piece. The sepia palette, with its warm browns and soft whites, captures the serene beauty of the lake, reflecting the historic architecture of Udaipur's palaces and temples. The knife strokes suggest the gentle ripples on the water's surface, while the rougher textures hint at the ruggedness of the surrounding landscape. The overall effect is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, capturing the essence of Udaipur's rich cultural heritage

My artistic journey began in the vibrant streets of Udaipur, where my love for sketching and drawing became apparent early on. As a child, I found myself lost in art, but life led me down a more conventional path. I completed my Bachelor's degree and, following expectations, pursued an MBA in finance and international business. Yet, even amidst the corporate grind, my heart never strayed far from art.

A turning point came when I moved to Paris for my Master’s in international business. Immersed in the artistic and cultural richness of the city, my passion for art was reignited. Paris’ galleries, exhibitions, and bohemian spirit unlocked a flood of creativity that had long been dormant within me. I also traveled to St. Petersburg for an AIESEC internship, where I taught art techniques to Russian schoolchildren, further deepening my connection to art.

Returning to India, I made the bold decision to fully embrace my true calling—art. Armed with inspiration from my travels, I began exploring contemporary, abstract, and portrait art. Each canvas became a reflection of my experiences and emotions, a way to express life, love, and the world. My work is a blend of simplicity, complexity, and the beauty of capturing fleeting moments.
