About The Artwork
This is an attempt to shift my style to semi realistic figurative work. Inspired by the very source of nourishment that is nature and woman in this artwork I have portrayed elements as woman to show her as a strong force of nature. Water, sky, fire, wind and earth are painted through different symbols, colours and objects on the same panel. For this work I have experimented with impasto technique and embossing using chalk powder and primer.
